Villa in Andalucia by McLean Quinlan Architects
The design strategy for this new build villa was to create a building that would exploit the spectacular landscape, while creating an exemplary building for the 21st century.
The site occupies a panoramic south west facing sweep of embankment, with impressive views to the Mediterranean, Rock of Gibraltar and Serranía de Ronda.
The building has seven bedroom suites for the family and their guests in three linked pavilions separated by pools of water, gardens and stone terraces.
Landscaping was key to the concept for this dramatic site and the combination of visual, solar and centrifugal influences inherent in the landscape created a natural orientation for the building – as a series of parallel surfaces on a NE/SW axis. These layers defined both shade and space from which to enjoy the Andalucian sunlight, providing tantalising glimpses of the view beyond and shaping tranquil spaces for the inhabitants.

The effect of shadow and water in an Islamic garden was both a practical and metaphoric influence on the design of the whole building – helping to temper the immediate microclimate while quietly referencing the historical context.

I've never been a biased person, especially when it comes to my opinion in style/fashion. Wether the person is my big brother/mentor or I'm just a fan of their work, I still keep it real. And me being real I will honestly say that I haven't felt a BBC/ICE CREAM look book in a good three years or so. But as soon as I peeped the BBC lookbook last week and the Ice Cream lookbook this week it ALMOST made me fall back in love with the brand that inspired me as an 11 year old little kid. Motivating me to be serious about something I was curious with, that many kids my age at the time looked at me sideways for experimenting with. We can all say that BBC doesn't compare to Y-3 Yohji Yamamoto, Jeremy Scott Adidas Originals, Band of outsiders etc. but most of you cannot deny that BBC/Ice Cream definitely HAS inspired you possibly or maybe even still does. All in all, I most definitely love the direction BBC took and I like that Ice cream stuck with it's same fun, vibrant feel it's had over the past 5 years.

I can safely say that there has NEVER been a time where I have not been blown away by a Burrbery men's lookbook, and can easily say that Christopher Bailey is one the greatest (and one of my favorite) designers of all time! *Kanye Voice*. The collection is not too too much and not toooo simple, it has a fine balance. Just chic, sleek, has a great use in color pop, and has some smooth yet DOPE everyday day pieces (Peep the tan leather jacket at the top!). In conclusion I the say Kudos to Mr. Christopher Bailey, you're a genius, and have been an inspiration to me in fashion for a while now, and I have a feeling that will not change.

Lanvin Patent Metallic Sneakers

Lanvin's footwear are always very HIT or MISS. One season they'll have some hot kicks such as these then the next some foolishness will be released lol. But these are most definitely something I'd rock with, and something I'm really digging right now, which is trending more are kicks with a variety of materials. In this shoe you can see it's 2 different kinds of suede patent leather. But one that REALLY caught my eye was a Balenciaga sneaker that dropped around December that I posted that had used some crazy materials but was used in great moderation. Using materials leathers, exotics, suedes, and when I saw them in person even sequins, that looked surprisingly DOPE check em' out HERE if u want.

Hello everyone.... Just wondering on where I should begin because so much is going on with me, so I'll start off by asking, how are you all? what have you been up to/working towards or on? And I know a lot of you that continue to come to this site aspire to be something so have you been on your grind? Well, Let me know, I'm interested because I've been on mines heavily as well. Between being in the studio working on several music projects including my next mixtape which I have yet released a date or title for which I announced over twitter and the blog yesterday! So stayed tuned for that. I've also been getting Chivalrous Culture footwear together for the August/Septmber launch! and MANY other ventures that I can't speak on and are under wraps going down. It may seem like a lot or even whelming but believe it or not my day's where I'm working I LOVE way more than the days I'm not. I guess that's because I don't consider what I do as work and in a previous TWEET I wrote on my twitter page on 3/5/2010 I quoted at 4:42 AM "UP & AWAKE :) Long day, but I live 4 these. What some would consider work I refer to as joy and what I love 2 do. Wussup wit ya'll though?" And that's something that I really feel is true because I don't even feel as though my work is work I enjoy it and that's something I wanna live by for the rest of my life for real. I find it very sad when people don't even enjoy what they do and then that leads to living life sluggish than being depressed, and I know some people don't even have the choice to pick there job and they gotta do what they gotta do, but if you do have that choice and if your young like me I'm encouraging you for real to gradually grind now. You don't even have to necessarily start now but making those beginning steps to better you for the future and as i say that's what my movement "YOUNG CR∆FTER$" is all about inspiring young people to take that step forward and even start thinking about there craft. And on that note I wanna congratulate the homie Jovany of YOUNG CR∆FTER$ for beginning to get his brand Adeen on and poppin' independently. But on another note, I'm real excited for school to come to an end though I'm home schooled and have 4 hrs of it but, #cmonson who want's to be cooped up in a house/classroom for real anymore? lol So in the midst of everything that's goin on I'm ready to put an end to my quote on qutote "Freshman year" of high school lol. And I know I've been slacking with the blogging BUT I'm still gonna try to make an effort to get to blog a "My thoughts of the day" or a dope new collection etc. atleast twice a week. THE LATEST CRAVE

It's been a while since I've done a post on my latest crave. Obviously there's been many pieces, accessories, luggage etc. that I absolutely felt that I was in NEED of since my last post on July 8, 2009. But this right here that you see before your eyes I will make sure i get my hands on...

As I was in Vegas I was blessed/cursed with having the store of one of my favorite brands DIOR HOMME right down stairs in my hotel, and of course you know me, In every city I was in this past week (Vegas, Phoenix, and Miami) I went shopping. And of course you know while I was in Vegas Dior Homme wasn't even a thought it was more like it pulled me in when I walked by the first day LOL. So I made my way around the store to dope Blazers, windbreakers, denim etc. Until I feast my eyes on these kicks that I have never seen anything like laces around the ankles, a zipper in the back which made the fit crazily perfect when I tried them on, and then when I left the reality kicked in that these Dior Homme Spring 2010 High Top Sneaker are around $800.00. Birthdays March 21st don't be suprised if you see these on my feet ;)....Possibly.

Clothing bag *check* sneaker bag *check* backpack *check*. The worst part of traveling/airport preparation, I'm sure many of you can vouch for me on this one which is the BIGGEST pain --> (PACKING!). And my very own personal favorite part of traveling/airport prep. would be bettering my self in the industry in which I love FASHION. When I was younger I used to stack up on some of my favorite mags. such as Vogue, Complex, GQ, and Hapers Bazaar just to name a few, when they were stacking up on junk food. As a member of YOUNG CR∆FTER$ we're not told to do these things that maybe seem like small gestures now but BIG will be beneficial to what we do in the long run. And as YOUNG CR∆FTER$ we do this and this one thing only, and that's setting our selves up for success, and through all of this my goal involves hoping that I'm gonna inspire you to do just that. It doesn't have to be Fashion, art, music, or the culture that I'm into but educate your self in the realm of what you find intriguing. There's no reason to be passionate about your CR∆FT at a YOUNG age. Anyway, I'm done rambling and on and on, that's what "My thoughts of the days" are for LOL. But early morning room service calls and then #ontothenextstate P h o e n i x. Which happens to be the home of my favorite NBA team *wonders if I can catch a game* That would be the best part of that trip because what's really there? Then Miami which is gonna be fun because two dudes that I consider brothers happen to be there now my homies Lil Twist and Khalil, and now added to the list is LA which happens to be just me going, for this guy name Justin Biebers 16th birthday party, I'm not too sure if any of you guys heard of em' oh well. First off, before I say anything I wanna give my deepest apologies to every last person that checks my blog daily. I'm feeling that I've been letting you guys down over the course of the past 4 days, because you come in day in and day out to see if I have posted. Honestly, there's been a shortage of posts because, of my schedule DURING THIS WEEK being that it WAS fashion week along with Young Crafters, Music and etc. BUT, Life of the Jet Setter is going to be BIGGER AND BETTER than it's ever been. Meaning more "MY THOUGHTS OF THE DAY'S, MORE FASHION, more content of what I do on day to day basis side etc. Also I have seen a lot of people asking when am I releasing a new track and that's coming real soon. I'm on my way to Vegas for a couple of days then phoenix then Miami just going to gigs with my dad. But as I'm here I'm not gonna leave you guys out I'm gonna be posting what I've been doing between the three states. And I know your gonna be waiting on that track for a whole week so I have something for you guys. Jovany, Lyna and I are gonna be releasing the preview to the "YOUNG CR∆FTER$" Campaign/Lookbook! Jovany and I have some dope shots that we took in Brooklyn during Fashion week, and unfortunately Lyna couldn't be here so she did her own shoot for the Lookbook in her hometown of paris. So though she couldn't be here were capturing the world wide view of YOUNG CR∆FTER$ from the Concrete Jungle to the fashion capital of the world. The full lookbook will be up shortly after that on our Lookbook.nu/youngcrafters link where all of you will be able to witness the style of our movement. Many have also been asking about my line Chivalrous culture and i just got word that the line will be debuting back to school 2010/2011. Wow!!! this collection is amazing, I'm obsessed. Wussup everybody hope your all good, just checking in with a lot of peoples favorite post MY THOUGHTS OF THE DAY! Currently I'm just sitting back in my room getting ready for FASHION WEEK NEW YORK which begins this Thursday! Just getting prepared with my outfits and schedule etc. Gonna be attending many shows and you know I have no choice but to give you guys the exclusive on the shows I'm going to this FWNY from "Life of the Jet Setter". Also shout to Ambush for these "POW!" accessories I have in the picture above, I'm really diggin' them. Also right now I have my pajamas inside out a spoon under my pillow and flushing ice down the toilet nah I don't that's just dumb lol, But I do have my fingers crossed because I heard SUPPOSEDLY there's gonna be some crazy blizzard tomorrow and I don't believe a crazy amount of snow until I see it. And I'm sure the rest of you are praying for a snow day tomorrow if your school isn't already shut down. As you know I'm home schooled so I wouldn't mind too much if my tutor couldn't make it here tomorrow lol. On another note, I know your all wondering what in the heck does "The stars coming into alignment mean?" And that's just how I feelin right now in terms of everything with my music it's like everyhting that I've been working so hard for music wise is alining perfectly and I couldn't be anymore thankful for it for real. There's alot going on right now (good things) it's pretty overwhelming but I don't wanna get overly comfortable in all of it I'm just gonna continue working and putting out the music that you all enjoy. I mean it's one thing to just make music but it's cool to see on twitter "#nowplaying" something something by me. And it's also one thing to make it some where because of somebody that got you in easy and another thing for your dreams to be coming true from your own hard work and dedication and that's exactly what i did. Submitted my own hard work and dedication to my passion and craft. It just feels like I can only go up from here and I'm just super humbled by it all so I just wanted to share that with all of you, I LOVE YOU GUYS, Thank you so much for your support and rocking with me, It's DOESN'T go unappreciated at all and this is only the beginning there's BIG things in the making and more to come fashion and music wise, coming sooner than you know... The work that Designer: Kim Jones did through out 2009 on the brand Dunhill was absolutely flawless. Coming into 2010 he is capturing the gentleman look which he seems to be keeping with and which is one of my favorite reason why I love this brand although, I feel that they might have kept it a little to safe on the runway with a common trend I've seen through the year of 09 which were military boots specifically the Dr. Marten shoe which made a big impact last year. All in all, kudos to Mr. Jones for a well done runway show in this fashion week in paris.

Many have asked this question 1 question. Diggy I know your mixtape just came out, but do you have a favorite mixtape of 09? So many have asked that I felt almost like I have no other choice but to do so lol. I base any type of music on well of course my personal taste but even more importantly the quality and deligance of how it was made MIXTAPE or ALBUM. It's your craft, your work of art, which should be taken with pride and care as if you have nothing to lose. I base that upon what I do as well as the greatest, my influences, and people I look up to in Music, Fashion, Art etc. That's why my tape was pushed back a total of three times. People around me say I'm a perfectionist and I go too hard on my self with what I do, but If that's not done how am I supposed to conquer every element of what I do, Beat them all, or Be the best? There's only one way of doing that HARD WORK DEDICATION and DELIGANCE. That's how the people that are talked about of being quote on quote "THE BEST" have made it to where they are. I apply this to all I do that's why I worked that hard on my tape it was more then my first impression, I felt and still feel I have more too lose. I feel any musician should feel that way not exactly as me but giving there best at all they do all the time. So with that being said this is the list I picked for my top 5 mixtapes of 09.

5. Starting off at the Number 5 spot on this list will most definitely come to be a suprise to many of you, but was most definitely the most ANTICIPATED tape of the year which comes out to be Lil Wayne's mixtape "No Ceilings".

4. Coming in at the number 4 spot on this list is a VERY dope upcoming artist. Definitely on his way to stardom, with a FRESH different sound is the third mixtape out of his series "The Rubix Cube" is Neako's mixtape The Rubix Cube: "Blue Edition"

3. Coming in at number 3 on this list was without a doubt one of the biggest break out artists of 09 with a "SUCCESSFUL" mixtape that was more talked about then most album's, and two tracks off of it that made it to a high spot on the charts is not too shabby. This is the mixtape of Young Money's own Drake with "So far gone"

2. Coming in at number 2 definitely has a title that speaks for it's self which was a classic that I was bumping this whole entire summer. More then just a DOPE upcoming lyricist and mcee but a song writer for movie sound tracks such as Alvin and the chipmunks 1 and 2, G-Force, Speed Racer, Big Mama's House 2, Epic Movie and so many more. First off before I start rambling on and on as usual I would like to say Happy Holidays to everybody. If it's Christmas you celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanza etc, I hope you got to spend it with at least one person that means something to you, because you don't have to have a full house like me to enjoy your holiday lol. Happiness sits right before you so don't be unhappy with what's around you. On a different note the only thing I'm trying to think about is nothing lol. No promo, not the tape so much not recording, or the line. So right now I'm on an Island in the West Indies called St. Barths. Vacationing, chillin gettin dark, and kickin back on my break. Everytime I'm down here it's the worst going back because it's beautiful flowers, beaches and mountains. Then when I go back it's to dirty black and brown snow lol. But for the time being until the fifth I'm just trying to relax as much as I can because the new year for 2010 I'm going FULL FORCE! So I'm just kind of planning on what I'm gonna do with the music the fashion and everything. A lot of people ask me what's next and next is always going HARDER each day, and finding the next thing that will be beneficial. The buzz is crazy with this tape right now a lot of people are talking outside of the internet and great things are in the works. I'm thankful for everyone that's rocking with me right now and every supporter from fashion to music, because I know not everyone has to be here for me. I have so much more to come and I just wanted give you all a thoughts of the day and let you know wussup with me. And that's just being ambitious as always aspiring to be the BEST at what I do.
